Super Greg… #1 – This has to be one of the first internet meme’s I ever saw. This is actually Sacha Baron Coen before all the Ali G, Bruno, and other charecters. This was for a lee jeans commercial. This campaign was first put out there to seem real. There was a website with him, his homegirls and homeboys… chilling in some old ghetto town. There were a few videos and whatnot…

This leads me to a post I’m working on for next week. I coulnd tell if these guys were for real or fake. They seem really fake, but you never know. And by fake, I mean just putting on an act…. Regardless.. it’s genius if it’s an act and I’m routing for them if it’s not (I know now, dont give up the answer if you know). I’ll get more into that on my next post, but in the meantime check them out. It’s pretty catchy stuff takes me back to the 90′s it’s almost like a mix of 90′s rap and the club/rave scene.
